My preference is for strength based approaches that align an individual’s intrinsic motivations for change with their values. I am particularly interested in finding ways to help people develop internal resources and resilience to adapt to compounding external stresses and/or changes.

The specific approaches I offer individuals include aspects of the following models Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Compassion Focused Therapy.

I specialise in relationships including helping couples and individuals develop stronger connections in every day life and especially during stressful times such as a breach of trust and/or difficult life transitions. I have a special interest in maternal health and adjusting to parenthood. For couple counselling, I prefer Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
