I specialise in working with children, teenagers, families, individuals and couples. This includes parenting skills, parenting through separation, blended families, relationship and communication issues and couples counselling.

I work extensively with stress and anxiety, PTSD, depression, loss and grief. I have a strong interest in working with and supporting people experiencing on-going chronic health issues and chronic pain and the impact that this can have on relationships, work life and family life.
My background is in teaching ranging from early childhood through to the intermediate years, including twelve years working with students with specific learning needs.
Prior to working in private practice, I was a Child and Family Counsellor at Presbyterian Support for five years. I have over twenty-five years’ experience of working with children and families.
My training is in Person Centered counselling. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative therapy, Strength Based and Emotionally Focussed therapies, as well as Creative and Play therapies.
