My approach to counselling is non-judgmental and supportive, with particular emphasis on establishing a good rapport and trusting relationship with clients.

I am trained in several different counselling approaches, and I like to consider what might be the most appropriate way of working with each client upon getting to know them and understanding what brings them to counselling.

I am respectful of my clients’ ability to run their own lives, while offering my insights, understanding, and an independent perspective when needed.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Ultimately, I believe that good listening and the quality of the counselling relationship are the main factors that influence successful outcomes.
