About

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and have been in practice for 19 years, a supervisor for 10 years. I have practiced in the UK, where I grew up and in Aotearoa / New Zealand since 2007. Alongside my clinical practice I have managed homeless, drug and alcohol, sexual violence and refugee NGO services. I have also taught at Tertiary institutions and developed a number of training programs both within and outside of university settings. This includes working with trauma, trauma informed management, working with / managing challenging people, affect regulation in the workplace. I have also helped redesign NZQA tertiary qualification from level 4 – 8. I currently lecture at AUT in the Clinical Sciences school and I am working towards my PhD at Melbourne University.

I work clinically from a psychodynamic, person-centered position and also have training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and EMDR.
