About

I have been working as a Counsellor for over eight years and previously worked in mental health for over 12 years.  I work with children and adults; with children I utilise play, creative interventions, mindfulness and child-friendly CBT skills.  I take a person-centered approach to counselling, working with both child and adult clients to set meaningful goals and collaborate on strategies to achieve them.  I believe that people can live a valued life while accepting setbacks and developing strategies to cope with them. I help people to develop mindfulness skills to improve emotion regulation, as well as find practical solutions to problems. I utilise techniques from various counselling styles.
