Mark is of Maori and European decent, born in Northland and has lived in Hamilton for the majority of his life. Mark is married and has two adult children.

He enjoys gardening, walking and gathering together with friends and family, as well as singing in the Hamilton Community Gospel Choir.

Mark has been counselling since 2004 and currently works in his own practice, along with other self-employed colleagues who share a workplace together based in Hamilton.

Working with clients in a person-centered style to collaboratively explore their situations Mark brings other interventions, such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) working with couples or the Multidimensional Trauma model when working with addiction and betrayal trauma to help being positive solutions and work to the client’s goals.
